how nature teaches me, over and over, how to organize, inside my heart, and outside my heart

THIS MOMENT

I took this the other day loving all the layers and contrasts in the sand, water. and sky; the puffy white clouds, not necessarily matching the chilly, dark clouds, and the red hued wavy sand at the shore different than the tan, rock strewn sand next to it,

just all there authentically, in a space of storm and calm, dark and bright, dense and open,

transparent in the transitions.

so…it isn’t about “but does this match?”

as, “is this authentically here?”

Reflecting room for what is LOVE, without force, without should, without shame and guilt.

Thank you, Nature.

THIS MOMENT

This leaf broke as I tried to carry it in my hand with a busy dog leash.

When I found it on the side of the road, it was unbroken and perfection.

I love the openness that makes the leaf look like warm arms hugging, and showing how SPACE is beautiful.

OPENness is beautiful.

The way loss can’t help but highlight all that is still there.

Thank you, Nature.
